Tribal Council

Table Mountain Rancheria is a federally recognized Tribe with inherent sovereignty and power to make its own laws and be governed by them. TMR is located near the rural town of Friant, in the Central Valley of California and is governed by an elected Tribal Council. This Tribal Council consists of five Tribal Members, each elected for a four-year term. Operating within the framework of the constitution and bylaws of the Tribe, the Tribal Council oversees every facet of the Tribal government and its business endeavors. The Council assesses and makes final decisions on the advocacy of the Tribe’s numerous departments and committees.

Tribal committees, Directors and Commissioners play integral roles in managing both government affairs and community viability. These include the Cultural Resources Department, Environmental, Tribal Gaming, Tribal Police, Human Resources, Administration, Education, Public Works, Medical, Dental, and Vision Departments, and Eagle Springs Golf and Country Club.
